Here’s what the White Bridge (สะพานขาว) P’Ling posted is 👻 The White Bridge (Thai: Saphan Khao/สะพานขาว) is an old bridge located inside Khon Kaen University. It’s well known locally for its many ghost stories and urban legends. Whether any of them are true, no one really knows, but here are some of the most famous ones: 1️⃣ If you want your wish to come true, you have to hold your breath while crossing the entire bridge. If you can make it to the other side without breathing and make a wish, it will supposedly come true 2️⃣ Another story tells of a young couple riding a motorbike across the bridge at high speed. Someone had secretly stretched a steel cable across the middle of the bridge. The cable tragically decapitated the woman, but the man didn’t realize what had happened and kept riding, unaware that his gf was already dead 3️⃣ According to another legend, before Khon Kaen University was built, the area was supposedly occupied by communist insurgents. There were armed clashes between them and government forces, and a lot of ppl lost their lives. Since there wasn’t a proper place to cremate the bodies, they were buried there instead. Years later, when the university was built, some of the roads were reportedly constructed over those burial sites. Ever since then, many ppl have believed that the area’s frequent accidents and deaths are connected to restless spirits still haunting the place. 4️⃣ One of the creepiest stories says that while driving through the area at night, you may suddenly feel like sth is standing by the roadside. When you look over, you’ll see an elderly woman quietly staring at you. Moments later, she starts running after your vehicle, somehow keeping up no matter how fast you drive. They worked in a coordinated way. Actually, I had already noticed them before the event because they didn’t seem like my fans. Then they flashed cameras directly at me, and I saw it. The 2nd time was when I was leaving the event. I was about to roll down the car window to say goodbye to my fans, and suddenly they rushed in to take pictures before immediately running away so they could follow me to another location. That group had around 4-5 ppl. They worked in a coordinated way, one after another, like in sequence. They already knew where I was going next, and they were waiting to... When I finished working, they took pictures of me. There were mainly 2 ppl who rushed in close to take photos, while the other 3 standing like, if I did anything to them, they would have evidence, so they (3 ppl) didn’t rush in that close. And when I got into the car, they rushed toward it, and I don’t even know what they were filming. So I felt it’s really scary. I felt that this kind of behavior wasn’t ok, not ok at all. So I decided to post on social media because I genuinely didn’t know what else to do anymore. All I could do was become more cautious. And it turned out that one of those ppl had already attended my event last year, the exact same person. So I felt that.. first of all, I have to thank my fans for paying attention to who these ppl were and helping me stay more careful : Are you afraid things might escalate further? Ling: Honestly, This is already very serious for me . When sth like this happens, it creates concerns about my safety and privacy. But since the incident happened overseas, idk if there’s actually anything I can do about them (legally) : Do you need to become more cautious now? Ling: Maybe I need to carry a self-defense weapon. But I already have 2 guards with me to help block ppl off, so they can’t get too close : Will there be more guards added for protection? Ling: We’ve talked about increasing guards.
