“Can’t K*ll Yourself,” a book by Living Proof. 6/26/26. The book will be distributed exclusively to Living Proof Members, via our website. Before Jackass became an MTV phenomenon, it existed in the form of CKY, an independent video series created by Bam Margera and his crew. Combining skateboarding, stunts and reckless chaos, the videos provided the blueprint for Jackass and laid the foundation for what would become one of the most influential entertainment franchises of the 2000s. Living Proof has worked with Joe Frantz to release “Can’t K*ll Yourself”, a book containing previously unpublished photographs from the making of CKY & Viva La Bam, documenting the early days of what would eventually become Jackass. ”Can’t K*ll Yourself,” will be distributed exclusively to Living Proof Members, via our website. The original MF DOOM mask: Re-Ignition, an archival library of objects and gear. Re-Ignition will be available exclusively on the Living Proof Patreon, tomorrow. The original MF DOOM mask designed by graffiti writer KEO, was created at the outset of DOOM’s career as a masked figure. This early version of the mask was used in the rapper’s first three music videos, establishing the identity that would come to define MF DOOM’s mythology. Conceived as a literal and symbolic concealment, the mask allowed DOOM to separate the performer from the person, shifting focus entirely onto the music and persona. Though later iterations of the mask became more widely recognized, this original design represents the foundational moment of MF DOOM’s transformation into a faceless antihero and icon in hip-hop history. This early version of the mask was severely damaged during the "?" video shoot with Kurious Jorge. KEO attempted to repair it before finally deciding to shop for an actual metal version, which became known as the iconic "Gladiator" version that most DOOM fans know and love.
