Unprecedented vote at the United Nations this past Friday in support of greater collaboration between United Nations and La Francophonie; 167 votes in favor out of 171, through a resolution co-sponsored by more than 70 countries. Beyond political issues, multilingualism is a shared priority. I would like to thank all the States that supported Resolution A/79/L.121. A special word of gratitude to the many "yes" countries that are not members of our organization!
