The bullets are in both 5.45mm and 7.62mm calibers. Each cartridge contains a three-part projectile made from a special copper-alloy composite. The spin from the rifled barrel stabilizes the cluster so it can be used with modern muzzle brakes, while the controlled spread raises the probability of striking fast, agile drones. Developers state the smaller round stays effective to about 150 meters and the larger version reaches roughly twice that distance.
