There's something fundamentally unnatural about an aristocrat being forced to manufacture his own mystique by hand. What I want, more than anything, is the sort of "intro" sequence that appears at the beginning of a non-existent TV show about myself, but, owing to a regrettable failure on the part of civilisation, nobody has offered to manufacture one for me. Consequently, I'm reduced to the humiliating necessity of producing the dashed video myself. It's rather like being obliged to butter one's own toast: a perfectly survivable indignity, to be sure, but one which nevertheless strikes a devastating blow against the very roots of civilised existence when inflicted on a man of my peculiarly delicate temperament.

I wanted to make a parody of modern film's overreliance on gratuitous sex & obscenity. I then went & sprinkled in a dash of ornamental ultraviolence——strictly for artistic balance, you undersand. As for the footage of me having sex with my girlfriends: it's included purely for satirical pruposes. My intention is to expose the absurdity of the belief that no story can stagger to the finish without a dash of bed-play and blasphemy, and thus to strip the thing of its glamour. My hope is that the viewer, confronted with the excess laid bare, may at last perceive the absurdity of it all, and feel cured of his appetite. What is presented here amounts only to odds and ends—disjecta membra. A few clipt fragments, nothing more. The complete film, extending to some 7 hrs and 25 minutes in length, is of a scale frightfully unsuited to the confines of Twitter. I'll post snippets of it nonetheless, and anyone who objets on principle to ANY representation of sex and obscenity, even if the intention is to mock it, may exercise the ancient liberty of boiling his own head.
