Lirio Del Valle | My family’s ancestral home. Originally burned down during WW2 by the Japanese & restored to its original footprint based purely off memory in 1997 as my Great Grandparents dying wish. Home is built in the traditional Filipiñana style architecture which is a mix of native Filipino with its capiz-shell sliding window sashes, Chinese and Spanish influences. Love this place. When referring to what home is & my roots this place is the picture painted in my head.
