Diagnosis: Dysautonomia, POTS, anemia, recurrent fainting. A lot of that feels like buzzwords in recent times but the reality of what this meant for me in the last few months: -ambulance rides -multiple ER/ICU trips -systolic blood pressure dropping 20-25 points per minute while standing -20lb weight loss in the last 8 weeks -concussions from syncope episodes I’ve got quite a journey ahead to rebuild what’s been broken but if there’s one thing about the way I live… I’ll get back up every single fucking time I get knocked down. 135 for a 5x5 is a damn good start to me🖤

Just keep on going🖤 The hardest part of my fitness journey these days has been getting back under a barbell after working to treat Dysautonomia. Long story short.. my blood pressure chronically drops while standing. Things like lifting should ideally raise your blood pressure while mine goes the other way. Fitness/Health have always been a journey. What used to be a warm up weight might temporarily feel like a house but this too will change. Strength is relative when the spirit cannot be broken.
