The eyes are the windows to the soul, and Michael had such large, expressive and beautiful eyes. But here we can see them filled with sadness. If we compare the Off The Wall era to this, the difference is striking. They took everything from him 💔

I often think about this moment when Michael gets tangled up in the microphone cord so he just improvises a whole new move without missing a beat. This is an insane level of skill. He was just eighteen years old. Never compare!!!

Michael meeting a fan in Paris, 1997. This is true love and care. No one can erase how beautiful he really was - inside and out ❤️

Michael’s greatness will never cease to impress me. He was only 18 years old here and paying tribute to the greats with amazing tap routines. Important to remember that he was NOT professionally trained. He taught himself to dance this way. Pure unadulterated talent!!!

He ended everyone else’s careers when he did this. And he was only 10 years old. Don’t embarrass yourself trying to compare Michael Jackson with anyone. It’s impossible.

Michael Jackson never played when it was time to shuffle. Definitely one of his best moves. It’s impossible not to get mesmerized by it.

We don’t talk enough about how powerful the message of the song History is. I’m always amazed at how Michael was a master at using his voice for what really matters. Plus this jacket is so fucking beautiful - our sparkling king ✨
