Medicaid cuts will affect everyone. Did you know that Medicaid programs are administered by states, and each state often uses a unique name for its Medicaid program, such as "DenaliCare" in Alaska or "Medi-Cal" in California? You may be enrolled in Medicaid and not even know it.

If millions of Americans lose Medicaid, they will still need health care, leading to more severe illnesses and higher hospital costs. These costs end up being paid by everyone, including those of us with insurance, as hospitals must find ways to cover uncompensated care.
