I called XFC 54 last night in Iowa. A name from the card you should remember: Darkhanbek Ergeshov. This guy is a hammer. I’d be shocked if he didn’t make some waves in UFC. Last night he scored an Americana with his legs from scarf hold on a PFL vet/BJJ black belt Sarek Shields

Karlos Nassar is a bull. 20-year-old phenom out of Bulgaria. This was no lift, but also amazing lift. At 89kg himself, he attempts a world-record 225kg (496lbs) C&J. Insane athlete.🇧🇬

John McCain is the man most responsible in Congress in getting the original Ali Act passed. I asked him 10 years ago if he'd support extending the Ali Act to MMA. "Absolutely," he told me. Seems noteworthy the architect of the Ali Act wanted it *extended*, not gutted.

Look at how SMOOTHLY Hafthor Bjornsson deadlifts a world record 510kg (~1124lbs). That is absurd.
