First time I was lead on a project was for Clash of Clans. We created a 360 degree experience you can pan around inside the YouTube video! The biggest thing I learned was managing people, which I am still learning about. Some animators needed more help than others. I learned when I should speak up to save us from mistakes and when to take on more without being asked because it was my responsibility to ensure the success and pleasant working environment for the team. I had never actually played Clash of Clans before working on this, a few years later I tried it and understood what all the fuss was about. It can be an addicting game especially if you’re in a clan with friends or family.

🆕 For newer animators, there's a tendency to want the rig to animate for you. 👟 Using attributes like the foot roll, we just want it to "work." But it takes a bit more attention to detail, especially for foot push offs. 🌟 TLDR: Make sure the toe is not lifted during push-off.
