🚨 BREAKING — NEPAL FLOOD DISASTER GROWS EVEN WORSE 🇳🇵🇨🇳 The death toll from the catastrophic flash floods along the Nepal–China border has now risen to at least 162, with hundreds of people still missing. 💔 The disaster struck after a glacial collapse sent a massive surge of mud, rocks and water through the Himalayan valleys, devastating communities in Nepal’s Rasuwa region and across the border in Tibet’s Gyirong County. Entire villages, roads, bridges, vehicles and critical infrastructure were swept away within minutes. The region is also a major route for pilgrims and trekkers travelling toward Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar, leaving hundreds of tourists and foreign nationals unaccounted for. Rescue teams, helicopters, soldiers and emergency workers are continuing the search through the devastated areas, but damaged roads and disrupted communications are making the operation extremely difficult. Flash floods triggered by a glacier avalanche have killed at least 95 people in Nepal, with hundreds more missing near the China border. Rescue teams are still searching. 384 tourists. Missing. In one flash flood. An avalanche on the Nepal-Tibet border unleashed floodwater that buried roads, bridges, and hydropower plants in minutes. Families in Nepal are still waiting for news.
