Few times Maxis had marketing material of these animations rendered in a software, and it makes me sad that sims can't have actual shading cast onto them. I guess shadows could make sims look off putting, cause heads can look uggo in specific lighting and angle

before vs after, does anyone see any difference or am i just the only one insane of liking PBR in my game (physically based rendering, so thinks like a specific shine of a material and shadows in textures, like the sand here)

Oh cool, the event hand fan reward is functional, but Maxis forgot to add the interaction to the object, so in vanilla you can't use it LOL in the same folder is the fix for it until they decide to fix it

Spending hours manually painting wind movement layers in blender to get foliage anims in worlds where ea cheapened out on. Also, they did not care about fall in cottage living at all, by turning everything plain dirt brown? 😭

random but if you play TS4 on pc with high graphic settings and hate the LOD popping (the model structure changing the further you zoom out), you can disable it with an edited settings file that disables it

Hey guys sims 4 is not buggy at all, look at this big feature recycled from university to teach kids how to ride a bike in another pack. totally works, I have no idea where you guys get this info this game is buggy, stop whining!!!!

I released a mod just now that attempts to fix this issue with some caveats where furniture in dark rooms no longer pops as the artificial glow has been removed.

Making a mod for High Schools in Sims 4. Basically, when the school pops up, a menu picker of all existing High School lots in the save is displayed. Allowing you to direct your current household to a school of your choice. Still a work in progress

AHH IT'S IN EARLY ACCESS I was helping test tyjokr's new Open Apartments mod, which uses some clever tricks to let simmers like me, who despise reloading the game for a fkn visit, just drop by a neighbor's place!

one thing I live for in sims 2 is how responsive sims are to commands. no 50 idles spamming the sim before they decide to quit an action, no random route events like smelling dust (who came up with that in sims 4 needs to be jailed)
