🔹The ZANU PF party is mourning the sudden passing of Cde Susan Vera Chirenje, the Director of Gender and Culture at Party Headquarters, who died on Monday evening at her home in Budiriro 1 after a 30-year career as a staff member, councillor, and Central Committee member. Her death follows her role in coordinating a ZANU PF National Women’s League trip to the Chimoio and Nyadzonya Shrines in Mozambique during the Heroes' Day holiday. 🔸 During the shrine tour, two local women allegedly possessed by spirits delivered critical messages regarding the state of the nation to top party officials, including Monica Mutsvangwa and Mabel Chinomona. The spirits claimed the populace is ruled by fear and expressed anger over the country's situation, citing a recent Kariba national disaster as a sign of spiritual displeasure. 🔹 Cde Vera, in her role as a cultural leader, intercepted the possessed women, defending the government and praising current leadership efforts, arguing that the nation was being fixed. She further argued that CAB3 was good for the country and has been signed into law for the betterment of the country. The spirits, however, rejected these defenses and challenged her on issues concerning the majority of the population who are wallowing in abject poverty. 🔸Following the encounter, the Women’s League returned to Zimbabwe, where Cde Vera reportedly died suddenly on her sofa while watching television. 🔹 As a person who is interested in seeing a better healthcare delivery in ZW🇿🇼, I commend the hospital rehabilitation plan for our patients from poor backgrounds, who are not privileged to healthcare insurance and the luxury of private health services. It is great to see the Presidential Hospital Renovation Programme moving into the Parirenyatwa Main Hospital to upgrade critical patient wards and healthcare spaces. We will follow the progress closely to see if it will turn into a more modern health system that ensures all our citizens can receive high-quality and affordable medical care when they need it most. 📍
