Playing 1.23 Experimental has made me realize how overpowered assault rifles are in vanilla DayZ. Even when people wear the best armor (plate + tactical helmet), they die so quickly. I'm not a fan of this as it lowers the skill ceiling of the game. It's all about who sees who first (encourages camping) and less about actually hitting your shots, making tactical decisions to shoot headshots/legs etc. Sure I can play on my own servers and change whatever I want, but I don't think it's constructive to improving the game. Will be submitting my thoughts to the feedback tracker as well. Please share your thoughts on this. Would like to see how others think about this, especially as the majority is used to playing like this. 👍
