260405 haechan IG live 🐻 Honestly, Mark hyung was more of a brother to me than anyone else. Having spent 13 years together, I relied on him so much. I think that’s why many of you were even more worried, knowing the bond we shared. Thank you so deeply for that concern. As soon as the article came out, I sent him a long text. I told him, 'Everything you’ve done for NCT will pave the way for our future. And in return, your time with us will help you move forward too. So, give it your all and don't regret your choice.' That’s what I wanted to tell him.

mark & haechan were asked to fill in the blanks about each other at a fansign 🐯🐻🗒ᝰ✍️ 🐯 mark: for me, donghyuck is like a brother / friend. he’s kind, an amazing singer, and just good at everything. he’s really smart. just having him around makes everything more fun. i don’t even know what he’s up to half the time lol, but i hope he’s happy, and i hope we can always be happy together. 🐻 haechan: for me, mark hyung is like my older brother. he’s my emotional support. he’s kind, a little silly, warm, and pure. just having him around makes me feel safe and reassured. i don’t know if he’s still the same as before, but i hope he’s happy, and i hope we’re always happy together. cr.

Talking about how op did the video call while she was in Shibuya (Tokyo), mark said he hopes that after all his busy schedules are over, he’ll be able to enjoy this kind of freedom and happiness too. Then he gently asked op, “If that means we won’t be able to see each other as often anymore, would you still be okay?” 🥹🥺🥹🥺 How can he be this thoughtful?:(( Your happiness truly matters to us too. As long as you’re happy, that’s all we need. We’ll always wait for you, no matter how long it takes🫶🏻🫶🏻💚🫂 cr. onyour_sugaring

🐯 okay, let me say this seriously. i don’t need to be your ult, that’s not what matters to me. but i do hope you love all seven DREAM members. and honestly, if someone told jisung, “you’re not my ult anymore,” even if their new ult was mark, i still wouldn’t want them to say something that could hurt him. 🥺🥹🥺🥹 mark isn’t worried about people changing their bias. what breaks his heart is seeing a member get hurt. as a leader, he just wants fans who love all seven. that’s the kind of love he carries for his team :(((( ❤️🩹

"The team in Korea has been keeping all the letters safe, and they were sending us photos in our group chat in real time. There were already so many coming in from the very first day. Anyway, I asked them to make sure they kept everything safe, and they’re all being well taken care of. When I get back to Korea, it might take me a while, but I promise I’ll take the time to read them all.”

260405 haechan IG live 🐻From now on, I’ll be the only one who’s in both teams, NCT 127 and NCT DREAM, so of course I feel sad, and there are parts that worry me too… But… as I spent time with Mark hyung and worked together with him, all those things that quietly built up inside me… I’m not even sure how to put it into words. The energy and strength I gained from being with him are still within me, and because of that, I’ve become someone who can keep moving forward even without him now. Of course, even if Mark hyung hadn’t been there from the beginning, I probably still would have made it this far. But walking this path alone… I don’t think it would have been an easy road. Still, having him there was such a great comfort, a source of strength, and a pillar of support for me. All of that has built up and become the strength that allows me to keep going now. That’s something I really wanted to share with everyone—so you don’t have to worry too much. Mark hyung wasn’t my only support. I have the other members, and I have all of you, Czennies, who support me.

mark said that after really digging deep and thinking about what truly mattered to him, he arrived at “goodness.” “i realized i should actually live by what’s good. so i found this dream of showing ‘goodness.’ i want to show the world what real goodness is.” he wants to make music that reflects that, and ultimately show the next generation what goodness can look like. that’s when, he said, his dream became very clear🥹
