Shocking videos and images are coming out of France. Historic buildings have been destroyed, hundreds of police officers have been injured, and enormous material damage has been caused amid the escalating vandalism and violence of recent days. In the face of this senseless destruction and unjustified violence, perhaps it is now clear to everyone why Hungary advocates the strictest possible approach to migration, and why we will not weaken our border protection or immigration policy under any pressure. I am glad that the current EU summit has made it clear that the overwhelming majority of European countries have woken up and want to break with the permissive policies of the past. We hope it is not too late. Let there be no doubt: peaceful and lawful protest is one thing; vandalism and violence are quite another. The former is a fundamental right; the latter is a serious crime. The Europe we all love is in serious trouble today. It is our responsibility, too, to help preserve our continent as the most wonderful place in the world for our children and grandchildren. Europe can count on Hungary. I express my full solidarity with the French people.

I received a truly moving gift from Jens Stoltenberg, former Prime Minister of Norway and former Secretary General of NATO. It was the memoirs of Dalma, our 92-year-old fellow Hungarian who fled to Norway in 1956. In 1956, at the age of 25, the parents of the former Norwegian Prime Minister went to the Hungarian-Austrian border and helped several hundred fellow Hungarians cross into the free world. Today, Viktor Orbán spoke laughingly about armed rebellion and changing the constitutional order by force. This is one of the most serious crimes against the state. Under Section 254(1) of the Hungarian Criminal Code, anyone who commits an act directly aimed at changing Hungary’s constitutional order by force or by threatening to use force is punishable by five to twenty years in prison or life imprisonment. Under Section 254(2), anyone who makes preparations to change the constitutional order by force is punishable by one to five years in prison.

As long as I am Prime Minister of Hungary, no harm will come to our children. There will be no incitement to hatred and no ideologically driven teaching of any kind in Hungarian educational institutions. I call on the leaders of the opposition parties and their propaganda lackeys to stop inciting hatred and apologise. Not to me, but to the Hungarian children they have betrayed once again.

Tegnap, amikor Nagykanizsára érkeztem, a kocsiból kiszálláskor 4-5 férfi támadt rám. Az egyikük hátulról akart megütni, amit a kollegáim megakadályoztak. Az akció láthatóan szervezett volt. Ez előtt pár órával Radnai Márk fórumán fenyegetőztek egy 20-30 centis pengéjű késsel. Ott a rendőrség bilincsben vitte el a támadót. Forsthoffer Ágnes alelnökünk pultozásához szinte minden nap rendőrt kell hívnunk az aggresszív provokációk miatt. A többi választókerületből is érkeznek hírek provokációról. Orbán Viktoréknak egyértelműen az a céljuk, hogy balhéba fulladjon a választási kampány. Ezen támadások célja is az, hogy kiprovokáljanak egy válszt a TISZA békés és derűs közösségéből. Minden jelöltünket, önkéntesünket és szimpatizánsunkat arra kérem tisztelettel, hogy senki ne üljön fel az orosz típusú zavarkeltésnek és provokációnak! Pont az a célja Orbánéknak, hogy balhé legyen és egy egy esetleges TISZA-s választ mutogathassanak hetekig a propagandájukban. Tudom, hogy sokszor nehéz a hatalom aljassága miatt, de továbbra is kérem, hogy mutassátok meg Magyarország békés, derűs és emberséges arcát. Nevessünk bele a hatalom arcába! 20 nap. Hagyjuk tovább vergődni Orbán Viktorékat! ui.: Sokan javasolják, de továbbra sem fogok golyóálló mellényt viselni vagy rendőri védelmet kérni és továbbra is ott leszek az emberek között. Köszönöm a kollégáimnak a támadás elhárítását!
