Force: to me, GMMTV feels like a family where Phi support Nong, Nong support Phi. I want to thank all the pillars who carry us to where we are now. Thank you for building the foundation for us. I believe there are many people who are ready to support Nong Nong. ———————————————- KristSing once shared on Pompam’s podcast that the beginning was far from easy for them. Back then, BL series was still a very new genre and considered a niche market. They faced a lot of scepticism and were often looked down on, with people doubting both the genre and their capabilities. KristSing, OffGun, and TayNew didn’t have the level of support from the general market that newer generations receive today. I’m grateful to them for overcoming those challenges and proving that Y series were profitable and had real potential, making it possible for GMMTV to continue investing in the genre. That’s why they’re often referred to as รุ่นบุกเบิก - “the pioneering generation” or เสาหลัก - “the pillars” who laid the foundation for the younger generation in the company.

Phuwin: BL pairs are kind of strange. They’re not lovers, not really friends either but they’re somewhere in between. It’s hard to define. They’re people you see more often than your parents, your partner and your friends. If there’s a fair amount of work, they basically spend 24 hours a day together. It’s like those couples who’ve been together for seven or eight years or like our parents, who are together but they don’t talk sometimes. When you see each other every single day, you eventually run out of things to say. With friends, it’s like, “Hey, how have you been? What did you do last week?” And so on. But with this person, there’s none of that because you saw them yesterday, you’re seeing them today, and you’ll see them again tomorrow. You just don’t know what to talk about anymore because you’re together everyday. There was a time when we walked in and like, “Hey.” “Hey, man.” “Come here.” And it’s like we both want to talk.
