You can clearly listen चा (चाय) बनावां? (Shall I make tea for you) Where her own family is totally disturbed due to water all around but still she has kept her smile and seva attitude alive. This is #chardikla Guru mehar rakhe 💪💕 And she is not one of this type, all around the vibes are visible..❤️ #chardikala #Punjabi #punjabflood

This old man's house got washed away in flood. But look at the chardi kala, he managed tea & pranthas for rescue team. And humility, he says, son I could manage this much only, pls have, as you all are working since morning, must be hungry. This is what a Guru ka sikh is. #PunjabFloods

Who has given you the right to tax the old veterans, who gave their yday for us, to have comfortable life. These oldies are like my parents, pathetic on the part of govt if they tax old parents, and harp about Vasudev kutumb. No compassion. No heart No respect Selfish for just votes Suffer you will. Unfortunately, my 🇮🇳 may also suffer as ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY may get weakened as Gen Z is smart, they see all around. Sad 😢

It was on 15th July in 99, during Op Vijay that I got injured in Akhnoor sector, at PP6. The post is ahead of river munnawar tawi, on the Pakistan side, next to LOC. It's after a gap of 25 years that I got the chance to come back here and vist the places. I couldn't visit the post as river is flowing much above the danger level to cross to other side. But I visited the DCB(ditch cum bund) to see it from far. Out of the places I could visit, notable one was, MH Akhnoor, the place of my rebirth. I saw the admission register. Almost 60 battle casualties were injured due to war injuries, in that period and I was listed at sr no. 47. It was nostalgic to see the ICU where I had spent 5 days before getting air evacuated, further to CH Udhampur on 20th July, as gangrene had set in, on my right foot. I am happy I could spend productive time with school children and be part of celebration ceremony hosted by 10 Div headquarters at Akhnoor. As evident, army units of this sector had also engaged with enemy, many soldiers were lost and injured, some got decorations (VrC, SM, MinD) but it is unfortunate that there is no reference of their sacrifices mentioned by anyone anywhere. So much so, many asks me with surprise that, oh was there any action in Akhnoor sector also? I, by the grace of God, could do something worth for my country, in my second life, so, got some limelight but what about many unsung warriors, who have gone into oblivion? That's how a soldier's life is. That's is why I say, it is the soldier and his family, who knows the value of peace as none loses anything in war but soldier & their families. May there be happiness and peace all around. God bless you all 🙏 Happy Vijay diwas Jai hind 🇮🇳💪
