🚨 MONSTER BASS ALERT 🚨 The new record for all-time heaviest Heavy Hitters bass lasted little more than 24 hours. That’s some tough luck for TakahiroOmori, but we knew there was a good chance a 10-1 wasn’t going to stand very long at a place like Orange Lake. Congrats to Michael Neal on the 11-pounder (his new personal best) and likely BerkleyFishing Big Bass of Day 2 at Kubota Tractor Corporation Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops! WHAT. A. BEAST. What an absolute UNIT. This fish CHOSE to be hooked. You ask for permission before reaching into the mouth of a bass like this. This bass’ side of the livewell is equipped with a full set of dumbbells. It’s favorite diet is shad, bluegill and protein shakes. #fishing #bassfishing #fatbass #football

What TakahiroOmori did on Day 3 of Kubota Tractor Corporation Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops can only be described as “incredible.” In Period 2, Omori tried to find some unfished backwaters he thought could only be accessed via extremely shallow Orange Lake waters – waters that proved to be impassable as he got stuck on dry land. After attempting to get unstuck conventionally and with the help of an airboat, he got a ride back to the ramp and the airboat went back to get his boat out. Fast-forward to about 30 minutes left in the final frame and Omori had just served his 15-minute penalty for needing his boat to be rescued. He headed back out on Orange Lake in search of one bass to get him back above the Lucas Oil Products Cut Line. The rest, as they say, is history. And straight-up magic. #buzzerbeater #fishing #heavyhitters #orangelake Ocala/Marion County

Absolute cinema. 🎬 TakahiroOmori’s 2026 season has been nothing short of magical, and the wild ride continued on Day 3 of Kubota Tractor Corporation Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops. Early in the day, Omori got his boat stuck to the point of needing a ride back to the ramp (at which point an airboat pulled Tak’s unmanned boat free). He was allowed back on the water to end the day after being assessed a 15-minute penalty. That meant he had less than 30 minutes to jump back over the Lucas Oil Products Cut Line. He needed roughly one of those minutes. This is what happened right before time expired, Omori needing just one scorable bass to keep fishing this week at Orange Lake. What if we told you TakahiroOmori is catchin' 'em on a ChatterBait? Would that surprise you? It really shouldn't. Tak is as good as it gets with a vibrating jig rod in his hands, and it's showing today. He's got the lead partway through the final period of Day 1 at Conroe.
