Abu Bakar admitted to shooting the cow but said did it to prevent anyone from getting hurt after the animal had broken loose.

FamilyMart Malaysia has suspended an employee accused of throwing soup at a delivery rider following a dispute captured in a viral social media video, according to FMT. The convenience store chain said the staff member had been taken off duty pending an internal investigation into the incident, which allegedly took place at its outlet in The Core, Kota Damansara. “Our team is investigating the incident with urgency and the staff (allegedly) involved has been placed off duty,” FamilyMart Malaysia said in a statement to the media organisation. “FamilyMart does not tolerate any rude, unsafe or disrespectful behaviour towards anyone at our stores.”

Three cars belonging to an individual known as Cikgu Chandra were set on fire, allegedly by a group of unidentified men. A man was reportedly gored to death by a runaway buffalo in an incident believed to have taken place in the Ulu Tiram area yesterday, with footage of the attack later circulating widely on social media. In the roughly 40-second video, the black buffalo can be seen charging at the man before knocking and goring him in an open area. The victim was later seen getting back to his feet following the attack, although he is understood to have suffered serious injuries. According to Kosmo! Online, he later died from injuries sustained in the incident.

Police have confirmed that a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) that went viral recently for using a siren and flashing blue lights to avoid traffic jams on the Maju Expressway (MEX) was being used for official duties by a ministry.
