Last night, the Russian army carried out a second strike on SOCAR oil terminals in the Odesa region. This is no accident – such attacks can be qualified as deliberate strikes against Azerbaijan’s civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. They bear the hallmarks of #WarCrimes. Since #SOCAR is a state-owned company, 🇦🇿 Baş Prokurorluq has the right to initiate criminal proceedings under the principle of extraterritorial jurisdiction. An important step could be the establishment of a joint international investigative team by Ukraine and Azerbaijan to investigate this incident. Should the deliberate nature of the actions be established, this attack may be regarded as an #ActOfAggression. In that case, Azerbaijan could bring the matter before the #UN, citing a violation of UN General Assembly Resolution 3314 (1974) on the Definition of Aggression.

In Kherson, the Russian army has once again carried out a double-tap strike – this time on a DSNS.GOV.UA unit that was extinguishing a fire at a gas station after the initial attack. Fortunately, the crew spotted the drone in time and managed to withdraw. But not everyone is so lucky: since the start of the full-scale invasion, at least 110 Ukrainian rescuers have been killed in such repeat attacks. Double-tap strikes against medics and emergency responders are a prohibited tactic, deliberately aimed at increasing the number of civilian casualties. #InternationalCrimes

As a result of another shelling, the railway station building in Pokrovsk, over 140 years old, was heavily damaged. It was one of the few historic stations in the Donetsk region that preserved the memory of the area’s development. This station witnessed numerous evacuations and became one of the symbols of hope during the war. Today, fewer than 2,000 people remain in Pokrovsk.
