Had a wonderful few days in Himachal over the New Year. Managed to beat the tourist rush by being an early bird in most days. Traffic was well managed by the Police. Stayed clear of crowded places so enjoyed better. But saddened to see the steady deterioration and unbridled construction. Lahaul too getting ruined after Manali. Himachal Pradesh is destroying itself.

Roams around in a state of undress. We have complained to the Mohali Police umpteen times, even to the DGP. No effort made by Police and district admin to get this woman to a mental health facility.
