Wala nang dapat pagdebatehan pa: when the time comes and we need someone to decide for our health in moments when we are incapable, we entrust that decision to our partner, regardless of our marital status. Ang pagkakapantay-pantay at respeto sa set up ng pamilya at sa kasarian ay hindi lang dapat ipinagdiriwang ngayong Pride Month. Dapat itong maramdaman at isabuhay bawat araw, lalo na para sa kalusugan ng ating mga mahal sa buhay. Sama-sama po nating itaguyod ang pagsasabatas ng Right to Care Act para sa tunay na pagkakapantay-pantay at para sa de-kalidad at mapagmalasakit na serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa lahat. First in Philippine history for a Vice President to be impeached twice. Patunay si VP Sara na hindi lahat ng naiiwang legasiya sa kasaysayan ay karangalan. Sa pag-apruba ng Kamara sa Justice Committee Report at Articles of Impeachment, matagumpay nating pinausad ang proseso ng pananagutan. The momentum for truth, the thrust for accountability is UNSTOPPABLE. Ang mahalagang balita ngayon ay hindi ang pagpapalit ng liderato sa Senado, kundi ang pagboto ng 257 na House Members pabor sa pagpapatuloy ng impeachment. Ang hamon at panawagan ngayon sa buong Senado, hindi lang sa bagong liderato, gampanan nila ang kanilang mandato at tungkulin sa Konstitusyon. In this impeachment, it is not only VP Sara who would be on trial; kasama sa huhusgahan ng taumbayan ang mga Senador. People are watching. Mulat at tayang-taya na ang taumbayan. We have received alarming reports of deployment of heavily armed men and restriction of community access in SLS, Kaputian, Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS), Davao del Norte. In a video posted by Liwayway Magaway on Facebook, armed men are reportedly intimidating Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) to dismantle their homes and vacate lands legally awarded to them under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP). According to reports, residents attempting to enter or leave the area are allegedly being blocked by these armed personnel, causing fear and intimidation in the community. In light of this, I co-authored House Resolution No. 502 filed by Kamanggagawa Partylist Rep. Elijah San Fernando, seeking to conduct an investigation into this land issue and human rights concern in IGACOS, Davao del Norte. If she cannot respect us—the Members of the House of Representatives—at least respect the House of Representatives as an institution, at least respect the Constitution. The whole budget process is something that is being directed and recognized by the Constitution itself. So disrespecting the budgetary process of this Body is a clear case of disrespect of our Constitution. Who is she to continuously disrespect or show disrespect to this Body as an institution and to the Constitution. If she can afford to be showing herself up to the Senate, including being there, and applauding the former Senate President in his privilege speech, which is definitely not part of her mandate as a Vice President, why can't she not spare a few moments of her time attending to her official function as Vice President to defend the budget of her office. Enough is enough! Enough of her brattiness! So, I rise today to manifest my extreme displeasure about the behavior of VP Sara, and in due time, I will move for the decrease in the budget of the Office of the Vice President. I actually intended initially to move for zero budget or for the disapproval of the budget of the Office of the Vice President in light of those very questionable actuations of the part of the Vice President. But after some mulling, after some reflections, and out of courtesy also and consideration to the personnel and staff of the Office of the Vice President, I’m just now thinking of moving for the decrease, let’s say, for the retention of the MOOE and personnel services budget and get rid of the operational budget of the Office of the Vice President. I will move for that, at the proper time, during the period of amendment. And I hope that my colleagues will join me in that amendment. Wag niyang bastusin ang ating Konstitusyon!

Ang pinakamalakas na ebidensya sa impeachment proceeding laban kay VP Sara ay si VP Sara mismo. Nakita natin ang matinding pagbabanta nya sa Pangulo, sa First Lady, at sa former Speaker of the House. No amount of fake news and disinformation can stop us from pursuing truth, justice, and accountability. ⚖️✊🏻 Matagal na po tayong pinupuntirya ng mga fake news, ng mga paninira at kasinungalingan. Paraan nila yan para patahimikin ako, dungisan ang aking kredibilidad, at tibagin ang aking paninindigan. Pero hindi ako nagpatinag. Hindi ako lumihis sa aking prinsipyo at mga ipinaglalaban.
