The Mossad spy agency reveals footage showing its actions against Iranian air defenses and ballistic missile launchers in Iran this morning. According to an Israeli official, the Mossad built a secret explosive drone base in Iran for this morning's operation. The drones were used to strike ballistic missile launchers at a base near Tehran, preventing Iran from firing projectiles at Israel as this morning's strikes began. Additionally, vehicles carrying weapons systems were smuggled into Iran. These systems took out Iran's air defenses and gave Israeli planes air supremacy and freedom of action over Iran. A third covert effort involved Mossad commandos deploying precision missiles near anti-aircraft sites in central Iran.

The IDF says it recently demolished five Hamas tunnels spanning some two kilometres in the northern Gaza Strip, on the Israeli side of the ceasefire line. The demolition operations were led reservists of the 14th Armored Brigade. The brigade has now been withdrawn from Gaza and it was replaced by the 179th Armored Brigade.

The name of the joint IDF, Shin Bet, and police operation to rescue the four hostages from the Gaza Strip is "Seeds of Summer." At 11:00 a.m. the order was given to the Yamam and Shin Bet officers to raid two multi-story buildings in central Gaza's Nuseirat, where Hamas was holding hostages Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv. The buildings were about 200 meters apart, and the decision to go for both simultaneously, and not just one of the sites, was due to the possibility that Hamas may murder the hostages after identifying the rescue operation. Argamani was held by Hamas guards alone in the home of a Palestinian family, while the other three hostages were held at a separate home. According to the IDF, Hamas pays such families to hold the hostages in their homes. At the home where Meir Jan, Kozlov, and Ziv were held, a major gun battle erupted, during which Yamam officer Chief Inspector Arnon Zamora, the commander of the rescue team at the second building, was critically wounded by Hamas fire. As the three hostages and Zamora were being extracted, their vehicle came under fire, leading it to get stuck. Other forces quickly reached the scene to rescue them, bringing them to a makeshift helipad in Gaza. There was a large amount of gunfire and RPG fire on the rescue forces amid the operation, leading the ground troops and the Air Force to carry out major strikes in the area to protect themselves and the rescued hostages. The IDF acknowledges that it killed many Palestinian civilians amid the fighting, although it places the blame on Hamas for holding hostages in a civilian environment. Hamas operatives also fired anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli helicopters over the area amid the operation, without success.

IDF says it supplied 300 liters of fuel for "urgent medical purposes" at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, but Hamas prevented the medical center from receiving it. Early this morning troops placed the jerrycans near the hospital, as had been coordinated in advance with officials at Shifa. It says that later "the IDF received evidence that Hamas officials prevented the hospital from receiving the fuel." The military publishes a call between an IDF officer and a senior Gazan health official, who says that Yousef Abu-Al Rish, the deputy health minister in Gaza, forbade the hospital from receiving the fuel.

A cell of Hezbollah operatives identified near Israeli troops in southern Lebanon were targeted in an airstrike earlier today, the IDF says. The military says troops of the Commando Brigade spotted the operatives, who were riding motorcycles, in the village of al-Aaqaide, near Nabatieh and close to Israel's buffer zone. "The terrorists' activity posed a threat to our forces," the military says, adding that they were struck "to remove the threat."

Footage posted to social media shows what could be sub-munitions from an Iranian cluster bomb warhead crashing down in Israel this evening, amid a ballistic missile attack. Videos show some two dozen fragments streaking through the sky. It is not confirmed whether these are cluster bomb sub-munitions or other fragments from an intercepted missile. The IDF has previously confirmed that Iran has launched ballistic missiles carrying cluster bomb warheads at Israel. The warhead of such missiles, which Iran also fired at Israel in June 2025's war, opens up while descending and spreads around 20 smaller munitions with around 2.5 kilograms of explosives, in a radius of around 8km.

The Israeli Air Force has dropped over 12,000 bombs in Iran since the start of the war, in over 8,500 separate strikes on Iranian regime targets, the military says. A senior IAF official says that "in 18 days, we flew as much as we would in a year." Of the 12,000 munitions, 3,600 alone were used in strikes in Tehran, according to the IDF. IAF fighter jets have carried out 5,700 separate sorties, including over 540 to central and western Iran and 50 deeper east in the country. Military officials say that the IAF is carrying out constant air operations over Iran to thwart ballistic missile fire on Israel, using new techniques that allow for longer operations without the need for refueling. In this formation, dubbed "metro sorties" by the IAF, drones and fighter jets loiter before carrying out strikes on ballistic missile launchers, Iranian soldiers, and other targets, based on "real-time information." When a new target is identified, IAF aircraft can be quickly dispatched to strike it. This was the case for the killing of Iran's intelligence minister, Esmaeil Khatib, in Tehran yesterday, according to the IDF. Officials say this effort relies on maintaining air superiority over Iran. The military assesses that its strikes have destroyed around 85% of Iran's air defense and detection systems. More than 300 targets relating to Iran's air defenses, including missile launchers and radars, have been struck, the IDF says. In terms of Iran's advanced air defense systems, the IAF assesses that it has destroyed 92% of them, with only a handful of such systems remaining, including some that are hidden and not in use. The IDF says it has destroyed around 80% of Iran's older air defense systems, along with 80% of its radars. Iran also has what the military describes as "decentralized" air defense systems, where missile launchers are connected to various optical systems, such as rudimentary cameras with artificial intelligence tracking software, to target Israeli aircraft. Some 75% of these systems have been destroyed, and military officials acknowledge they are much harder to locate than the advanced systems. Additionally, the IDF says it has destroyed or disabled around 60% of Iran's estimated 470 ballistic missile launchers. Some previous military estimates put this number at 70%. Around 200 of the launchers were destroyed in strikes, while another 80 are not considered to be operational after the IAF struck tunnel entrances to subterranean facilities where they are stored, according to the military. The IAF says it continues to hunt down the remaining roughly 200 launchers to reduce the missile fire on Israel. The military also assesses that Iran still has hundreds of ballistic missiles that can reach Israel. It has so far launched over 350 at Israel, with the rate of fire slowing to 10-20 missiles a day in the past week, with just one or two missiles at a time.

Two Hamas operatives who had been advancing attacks on troops were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip over the weekend, the IDF announces. One strike in northern Gaza on Saturday killed Ahmad Munir Khalil Zaza, chief of engineering in Hamas's West Jabalia Battalion, according to the military. The IDF says Zaza was involved in manufacturing and distributing weapons to the battalion's fighters and was responsible for building explosive devices and booby-trapping homes. "Recently, Zaza attempted to plant explosive devices near the Yellow Line to harm IDF troops operating in the area," the military says. In a separate strike in northern Gaza, the commander of Hamas's sniper array in Gaza City, Hussein Safadi, was killed, the IDF says. "Safadi was responsible throughout the war for all sniper attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza City area," the military says, adding that recently he "repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement and attempted to train terrorists and advance additional sniper attacks against IDF troops."

Footage from the West Bank town of Huwara today shows an Israeli soldier and a group of settlers beating two Palestinian men. The surveillance camera video shows the soldier, seen in full military gear, repeatedly punching one of the Palestinians. The group is then seen leaving the area, leaving behind the two wounded Palestinians. The military says that it is "aware of footage showing an IDF soldier using violence against a Palestinian," and that the soldier's actions are "serious and inconsistent with the values of the IDF." "Once the soldier is identified, he will be subject to disciplinary proceedings, and appropriate command and disciplinary measures will be taken in accordance with the findings," the army says. The IDF says that troops and Border Police officers were dispatched to several sites in Huwara today after receiving reports of "suspected theft of livestock belonging to Israeli civilians," and to "remove the Israeli civilians and the livestock from the village and prevent confrontations in the area." Later, the military says, "several rioters arrived in the area of the village and violent clashes developed, including stone-throwing and the use of clubs between Israeli civilians and Palestinians." At least nine Palestinians were reported wounded in the attack by the settlers, who are seen in pictures arriving at the town on pickup trucks. The IDF says the forces worked to "disperse the gatherings" using riot dispersal means. There are no reports of arrests. The police, in a statement, says it has launched an investigation into the settler attack, with officers entering the village a short while ago to collect evidence. The military says it "strongly condemns violence of any kind that harms security in the area and diverts the attention of commanders and soldiers from defense missions and counterterrorism activities," and the police say it "views such cases of violence and damage [to property] with severity and will continue to act decisively and professionally to locate those involved, investigate them, and bring them to justice accordingly."

The Israeli Air Force has destroyed 70 Iranian air defense batteries since the start of the IDF's operation in Iran, according to the military. In the first 24 hours of the operation early Friday, over 40 Iranian air defense systems were struck, according to the IDF, giving the IAF air supremacy over western Iran and Tehran. Since then, another 30 systems have been targeted in waves of strikes, opening up a path for IAF fighter jets and drones to operate deeper within Iran, the military says. The military says IAF drones continue to hunt down surface-to-air missile launchers and radars across the country.

The Israeli military and Shin Bet security agency say they have verified the deaths of 19 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives in this morning's airstrike on the Taba'een school in Gaza City. According to the IDF, the strike was carried out against the Hamas and Islamic Jihad command room embedded within a mosque at the school complex with three "precision munitions." The IDF says that the missiles "could not have caused the damage that corresponds to the casualty reports of the government media office in Gaza." The military says that footage from after the strike shows that there is no major damage to the surrounding school complex.

The IDF and Shin Bet security agency release new footage showing part of Hamas’s tunnel network underneath Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital, where the terror group is believed to have a main command center. Clips are published from two separate devices that were lowered into a tunnel entrance discovered by the IDF on Thursday in the Shifa complex. The tunnel shaft had been located on the hospital grounds under a canopy, where IDF troops had also found a Hamas pickup truck with weapons in it, similar to those used by the terror group in the October 7 attacks. The new videos show that the tunnel shaft has a winding staircase from around three meters deep, continuing down for another seven meters until it reaches part of the tunnel network. The tunnel continues for five meters, before turning to the right and continuing for another 50 meters. At the end of the tunnel, the footage reveals a blast door with what the IDF says is a gunhole for Hamas to shoot through. “This type of door is used by the Hamas terror organization to block the ability of our forces to enter the organization's headquarters and underground assets,” the IDF says. “The findings prove beyond all doubt that buildings in the hospital complex are used as infrastructure for the Hamas terror organization, for terror activity. This is further proof of the cynical use that the Hamas terror organization makes of the residents of the Gaza Strip as a human shield for its murderous terror activities,” the IDF adds. The IDF and Shin Bet say they are continuing to operate at Shifa to expose Hamas’s tunnel network in the area.
