Took my Itty Bitties on a #DadCation ❤️🙏🏿 Life moves fast. Between school, work, practices, games, tournaments, birthday parties, and everything else, it feels like we’re always running to the next thing. But one day, these little humans won’t be so little anymore. Before I blink, they’ll be grown, out of the house, and building lives of their own. And I’ll miss these days—the laughs, the chaos, the car rides, the hugs, and even the endless questions. 😢 That’s why I’m intentional about creating moments like this. Not because we need a vacation, but because we need each other. I recently heard that 90% of the time you’ll ever spend with your children happens before they leave home. That hit me hard. So while they’re still my Itty Bitties, I’m going to love them loudly, show up fully, and make memories they’ll carry forever. The days are long. Your spirit, your humor, and your impact will never be forgotten. 🙏🏾❤️ Homicide Investigation – Victim Identification Suspects Charged 3000 Block of N. 82nd Terrace Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department are investigating a weekend shooting that has taken the life of a 64-year-old Kansas City, Kansas man. At around 7:15 PM on Sunday, June 7th, officers were called to the 3000 block of N. 82nd Terrace regarding a shooting. Upon their arrival, they found a male victim outside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported in critical condition to an area hospital where he died from his injuries earlier today. The victim has been identified as James Dodds, 3-10-1962, a resident of the home. On Monday Aaron Johnson, 12-21-07; Mark Elliott Nash, Jr., 6-15-07; and Marquel McGee 2-8-08, all residents of Kansas City, Kan., were taken into custody in Newton, Kan. on Monday, and charged each earlier today in Wyandotte County with first degree murder. All three are currently being held in the Harvey County Detention Center pending transfer to Wyandotte County. This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477). All tips remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward
