Dear Genshin Impact fans, In my nodkrai video I said that Natlan’s music was nice but felt shallow, my mistake in this was not elaborating on why. I said it in passing and didn’t consider the word choice. I’m gathering that people assumed I was referring to the PLACES being represented by the music Which is preposterous because I would never criticize a culture or place, as I’ve always felt that is genshin’s strongest element. I assumed you would know it was obvious I was talking about the musical composition and structure not what that music represented (the people and the places) I’m sorry if you felt that I was spitting in the face of your culture. As a multicultural person myself and soon to be married to a multicultural person as well, I would never ever do that. I am saddened that you may have felt that. That said, subjectively, I felt natlan’s music was nice. But, a bit too easy listening to my taste. Part of the reason I have filmed so many Genshin videos is due to the musical complexity it showcases. Not just in the western soundscape but also in other regions that are represented. You’ll recall I defended this very thing a year ago when the music was representing African culture. At that time I was lambasted on this platform for saying that people of color were not being represented properly in game. I’m perplexed why you would think I’m suggesting the opposite now, even going so far as have people claim I am “racist” which is a bridge too far. In any event, I’m sorry for any hurt feelings. It’s clear to me that if I’m going to say something, I should be clear about what I mean.

Went to the tower that has the highest point in the map in NTE thinking there would be some sort of loading screen. Nope. Just hop in the elevator. Had a person or two pop into chat and ask if this was a "gacha slop" game and I really do get the sentiment to a degree but I have to admit I have a lot of fun in these games. We have moved far beyond these games even needing to be labeled as "gacha". I get that due to their monetization model they are viewed as automatically "inferior" and I don't want to defend them but I see stuff like this and can't help but get excited. Plus NTE doesn't have the god awful 50/50 system which I abhor. I played it like 7 hours today. I REALLY like it. It's a good video game.

Landscape intros are very important in setting tone. This is absolutely one of my favorites I’ve experienced in my 30 years of gaming. This was on par with Witcher 3, final fantasy, and some of the musical moments of red dead redemption. High artistic value.

I only discovered Ace Combat four years ago but as a kid I used to play a lot of European Combat flight simulator to pass the time. When I heard the music of Ace combat it blew me away and I've been a fervent and very passionate fan of the series ever since going on to play 4,5,0,7, and project wingman and DLC, with 6 planned for the new year. I am beyond words. I'm so happy Ace Combat is back. Thank you Bandai Namco US <3

Not done fawning over Wuthering waves 2.0 just yet: this is OPTIONAL. This is OPTIONAL?!?! Really the music in this update and world building are exceptionally 15/10s. Even if you hate gacha games, which I can’t blame you for, this might be worth experiencing. Genuinely.
