This one cuts deep… 😓😓😓 Heaven gained Ben today. Our brother. Our friend. Our Entertainment Officer. I named Ben our Entertainment Officer of Unity Haven Sanctuary because he had a rare gift. He could walk into the room carrying more pain than most people will ever know and still make every single one of us laugh until we couldn’t breathe. When the sanctuary needed light, Ben brought it. Instantly. Without fail. That title wasn’t cute. It was true. He kept this place alive and he needed us to lift his spirit…❤️ Mike and I built Unity Haven Sanctuary chat room, so people would have somewhere safe. Ben made it feel like home, family. He never let cancer steal the joy from us, even while it was taking everything from him. Ben, I will miss kicking your ass. 🥹 Thank you for the memories. For every laugh you pulled out of us when we needed it most. That smile… that’s our Ben. Our Warrior, who loved so fiercely. The short skinny bald guy with the lion heart who signed off the only way he knew how: Fight. Fight. Fight. Haven feels quieter tonight. The laughter is missing.
