Finished 4th overall at the G.O.A.T Peaks Sports 50km trail race in a time of 8:59:47 on a 3444m elevation ⛰️🗻⛰️🗻 I have so many stories to tell about this race 🙆🏽‍♂️ from the elevation, to the heat, to getting lost, to getting sick coz of high altitude 😀 But I pushed through and gave it my absolute best and I am so proud🇿🇦 Let me gather myself and then I’ll give you a proper race review 📝 Massive shout out to Peaks Sports and Dana.runsultras for hosting us🙏🏽 Thanks to the ndlovu.kaziii @thebigfive_program Team, @ikhayalethu_athletics_club_ Garmin South Africa Matomani Just Run Tours @striving_mind_engineers and everyone who supported me and made this trip possible 🙏🏽 To coach @coach_vongs and @skhindigangcoaching , friends, training partners, family and everyone who’s been showing me so much love and support , I appreciate you all♥️ God you keep showing off🙏🏽🥹

Just a Thursday speed session with my friend @semmi_fit who ran 7:23 at Comrades and got her first silver medal 🔥 I chased her the entire Comrades race and I came in 7:29 👌🏽 Race day results are not a fluke, they come from days like this where we put our shoes on and grind hard at training!

This is my second year running In Uganda 🇺🇬The experience of running the streets of Kasese and spending time with the people of Uganda is one of the things I’m most grateful for ♥️ Running is something I’d never trade for anything and being blessed enough to do it around the world is something I count twice when I count my blessings ♥️ Thank you @rwenzorimarathon . Once again, thank you to the High Commission Of Uganda in Pretoria and the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon team for having me. It’s going to be a great week

When I got to the top of Polly Shortts I realised that I needed to run the last 6/7km between 4:15 and 4:20 pace to get a silver medal 🙆🏽‍♂️ I realised I needed to dig, my body was sore.. My mind and my body were in battle, but my mind won. I started running between 4:05 and 4:10 pace, when Smanga Khoza saw me and took this video , I had nothing left in me but the grit to get to the finish line under 7 hours and 30 mins and give him a thumbs up 😅 This year I had to FIGHT!! And I FOUGHT! 🥈

Running you’ve taken that little boy from the streets of Giyani in South Africa 🇿🇦 to running on one of the world’s biggest stages at the TCS London Marathon 🇬🇧 3:08:21 today, far from the time I wanted but what an AMAZING experience, the crowd? Oh my word! I’ll tell you all about it, for now let me go celebrate yet another milestone and 9 years of a beautiful relationship with running♥️ Thank you all for backing me up, always ♥️
