Video of Mirali's Al Farooq Missile “Al-Farooq Missile” is attributed to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan is not an actual missile system. It is essentially an improvised weapon, based on a BM-12 rocket shell, with an attached gas cylinder packed with explosives to increase its destructive capacity. It is considered a crude, locally manufactured device rather than a sophisticated or reliable technology. Due to poor handling, these often miss targets and fall on innocent civilians, putting lives at serious risk. This is an alarming situation for security forces as well.
