I got to meet Jack O’Connell this weekend after seeing his new film, Ink, directed by Danny Boyle. My son dressed as Remmick for Halloween last year, so I showed Jack the photo and told him Sinners was our favorite movie of the year, and that my son had even learned to play the score on his guitar. Jack took my phone and recorded a short video for him. An all-time moment, and one I’ll never forget among all the incredible memories I’ve made at this festival over the last 11 years.
