North City residents are urging Governor Mike Kehoe to send in the National Guard to help clear debris, cover exposed homes with tarps. I took their requests to Senator Josh Hawley and Mayor Spencer. This morning, Kehoe's office said National Guard are "being considered."

Mayor Spencer is taking some heat from some of the groups who backed her political opponents (and her opponents themselves) on tornado response. Spencer credits the "collaborative spirit" and "phenomenal" and "absolutely incredible work" they've done to organize relief efforts.
