A founder pushed one button and watched a billion dollars land in a single smart contract in under a couple of minutes. He said it was the most stressed he's been in his entire life. Paul Faecks runs Plasma, a blockchain built for one thing: moving stablecoins around the world, ideally for free. Before launch, the team had made zero private deals and zero pre-commitments. Nobody on the team, including him, knew if the first $250M deposit cap would even fill. It filled in a couple of blocks. They raised the cap. It filled again. They raised it again, to $500M. That filled in three or four minutes. Total: over $1B sitting in one smart contract, before the token had even launched. His words: "Pushing the big green button is just always scary, because there's just so much at stake." And even once it worked: "It just stays scary even after it's done, because now you have this value in the contract." This is what's actually sitting behind the stablecoin rails and crypto debit cards you're starting to see everywhere. Not vibes. Nine-figure smart contracts and a founder who didn't sleep. Plasma One passing 100k is not the number that got me - it is that 16,434 people actually spent in a single month Most cards get signups and die. This one is getting used - $15.2M spent in July alone, up 69% from June And I have a front row seat to it. 1,400+ of those users came through my referrals and they are not dead signups - they are spending, which is the whole game Access Code: W6TRRM - $103M topped up onto cards since launch - $859K already paid back in cashback, all in XPL - 692 tier lockers holding 62.8M XPL, worth $4.73M Screen recording below, straight from my phone Nathan Vinny Googly 👀 thanks for the P1

A Polymarket trader turned $272 into $14,000 on ETH and $364 into $29,000 on XRP in the same 60 days he banked $300K total 4,000 trades across ETH, SOL, XRP. Averaging $4,800 profit per day Profile: Setup looks semi-automated: human strategy, bot execution The edge: He farms safe yield on NO outcomes that are nearly impossible then uses that steady income to fund tiny asymmetric bets with massive upside Two engines running side by side: - Boring engine: buy NO at 98¢ on unlikely outcomes, collect $0.02 spread, repeat - Lottery engine: buy YES at pennies on plausible tails, occasional 50–100x payouts The boring engine covers the cost of all the lottery tickets that expire worthless. The lottery wins compound the account Most traders pick one or the other chase steady yield, or chase moonshots. He runs both at once, and that’s the entire edge Less emotional trading. More structured volatility extraction
