He said, "You people that come here... you love our way of life, you love our milk and honey, at least you can pay a couple bucks for a poppy or something like that... These guys paid for your way of life that you enjoy in Canada, these guys paid the biggest price." He was fired for his comments. He was fired for speaking his mind. I didn't think there was anything offensive about his comments and the time, and I still don't.

Here's Trudeau explaining why his father put the notwithstanding clause in the constitution. I personally hate that clause. I'd rather have real rights. I didn't vote for this nonsense. But you know who did vote for this. Civil servants by the thousands. Now you get to live with the consequences of your action. You love working for the government, especially when they trample my rights. Well guess what.
