ICYMI: The Pima County Sheriffs Department says before 8 this morning, they responded to Sabino Canyon for a rescue. A family of three tried to cross a flooded bridge on bicycles. During the crossing, a 20-year-old woman fell from her bicycle and became trapped underwater. Family members and Good Samaritans began helping, but the woman remained underwater for multiple minutes. She was eventually pulled from the water and CPR was started until she regained consciousness. PCSD Deputies arrived to help her out of the drainage. Two people were taken to a local hospital and are reported to be stable. PCSD says this is a good reminder--"never attempt to cross flooded washes, whether on a bike, in a vehicle, or on foot. Fast‑moving water is extremely dangerous and puts you and first responders at risk."

LATE BREAKING: A "melt ice" protest at the Tucson ICE office is getting rowdy. People are throwing things at the officers standing outside the offices on Country Club. Windows are also being broken. You can see some of the officers covered in blue from paint balls. Our crew on scene says someone even threw a fence. We're monitoring this closely.

A bear cub wandered into the Fry’s on Oracle and First this morning! Charlie Alolkoy caught a glimpse on video. Game and Fish has recently told us these creatures are coming down closer to us, looking for food and water. OVPD says the bear left prior to arrival so they’re now working with Game and Fish, using a drone to search for it.

Family of Zahriya Moreno shared video with us of her honor walk as she was taken off life support and will donate her organs. They want her to always be remembered for the beautiful person she was, and is leaving the earth as a hero. May God bless this family during this difficult time. This is absolutely gut-wrenching to watch.
