Message of Maryam Rajavi- Khamenei’s death is the death of religious tyranny and the end of the regime of Velayat-e Faqih Now is the time to establish freedom and the sovereignty of the people of Iran. Last night, once again, people and youth in many districts of Tehran, including Shahrara, Shahrak-e Gharb, Punak, Saadat Abad, Sattarkhan, Jannat Abad, Heravi, Pol-e Rumi, and Ariashahr, took to the streets. Together with cities in open revolt such as Karaj, Aligudarz, Isfahan, Shiraz, Shahrekord, Sanandaj, Qazvin, Qom, Rasht, and Bushehr, they asserted control of public spaces and reshaped Iran’s political landscape with chants of “Death to Khamenei,” “Death to the dictator,” and “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or (the mullahs’) Leader.” The continued deployment of mercenaries and IRGC forces, using tear gas, live ammunition, and mass arrests, no longer offers any remedy for a defeated and weakened Khamenei. The people speak with one voice: the regime of velayat-e faqih must come to an end. #IranProtests

Message to the Iranians’ Rally in Stockholm on the Anniversary of June 20, 1981, the Beginning of the Iranian Resistance Indeed, change and revolution are not forces that can be stopped. Freedom, the right to vote, and free elections have been strong demands of the Iranian people since the Constitutional Revolution until today. And without a doubt, they will achieve it through the determination and struggle of the PMOI at Ashraf 3, you— supporters of the Iranian Resistance— the brave fighters in the Resistance Units, and your beloved people. We have risen up to overthrow the regime and to establish a democratic, non-nuclear republic, based on the separation of religion and state, gender equality, respect for the rights of all nationalities, an independent judiciary, and the abolition of the death penalty. We are fighting for a pluralistic system that promotes peace in the Middle East. From the onset, we stood up against the misogyny of Khomeini and Khamenei and any form of coercion, raising our voices: No to compulsory Hijab, No to compulsory religion, and No to compulsory governance.

After its significant failure in the region, the mullahs’ regime has accelerated its program to build #nuclear weapons to avoid being overthrown. Therefore, it is urgent to activate the Snapback mechanism of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231. The people of Iran want the overthrow of this regime. We have risen up to overthrow the regime and replace it with a democratic republic. For more than four decades, the National Council of Resistance (NCRI) has adopted comprehensive programs and plans for the free Iran of tomorrow. I had the honor of presenting a condensed version of this vision in a ten-point plan for the first time at the Council of Europe in 2006. The key points of this program are the establishment of a republic based on the separation of religion and state; gender equality; autonomy for ethnic minorities; the abolition of the death penalty; an independent judiciary; and a non-nuclear Iran that consistently advocates for peace in the Middle East. #FreeIran2025

It is the active and equal participation of women in leadership, and justice for all; the equal participation of all, especially Iran’s ethnic nationalities, in rights and governance, including Kurds, Baluchi, Turkmens, and Arabs.

A Call to the International Community to Save Prisoners Facing Execution in Iran- Members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization—Mohammad Taghavi, Akbar Daneshvar Kar, Babak Alipour, and Pouya Qobadi—who were executed on March 30 and 31, were condemned for one “crime”: declaring that the path to freedom and liberation for Iran and its people lies in the overthrow of the clerical regime and the establishment of a democratic republic, and for steadfastly standing by this rightful demand of the Iranian people. Undoubtedly, the brilliant path of these martyrs will be carried forward by ranks of young people joining the resistance units and the army of freedom. I urge the international community to convene a special session of the United Nations to address the series of executions in Iran and to take immediate, concrete measures to save the lives of political prisoners and activists who are at risk of execution.
