"Islam is NOT an Arab religion. That's exactly why the Qur'an NEEDS to be in Arabic."

Pastor Oyedepo is right. If you want to wear a hijab, attend a Muslim-owned school. You can’t impose Islamic dress codes on a university that is owned, run, and funded by a church. Right now, no Muslim university in Nigeria can compete with Covenant University. That’s not by chance, it’s the result of years of deliberate, heavy investment in education. Instead of fighting for hijab rights in Christian schools, demand that Muslim leaders and wealthy individuals build universities that can stand on the same level or even higher. Leave the church to run their schools as they wish, and put the same energy into building your own to the standard you want.

If insulting the Prophet justifies murder, what does that say about our religion?

The Quran NEVER Calls Christians “Infidels” – Here’s the Clear Truth Christians are never referred to as infidels in the Holy Quran. Not once. Not a single verse. The “infidels” the Quran actually mentions were the pagan Arabs of Mecca, the very people who turned against the first Muslims and tried to wipe them out in their own city. This wasn’t a global command for war or Muslim domination of the world. It was strictly about self defence in those specific early battles when the Muslims were fighting for survival against betrayal by their own people. Now here’s what changes everything: When the Prophet Muhammad feared for the lives of the very first Muslims, he didn’t send them to another Muslim tribe for safety. Instead, he sent them to Christian Abyssinia (modern-day Ethiopia), where a righteous Christian king, the Najashi, welcomed and protected them. If Islam truly taught hatred or killing of Christians, why would the Prophet send his most vulnerable followers to a Christian kingdom during the most dangerous time in early Islamic history? It simply doesn’t make sense. So the real question we all need to ask is: If the Prophet never hated Christians… where did all this modern-day hatred actually come from?

This is so sad to watch😔 How do grown adults look at a child and call it marriage. That is not culture. That is not religion. That is abuse dressed up in tradition. Marriage is already hard for two fully formed adults. Now imagine forcing that weight on a child who should be in school, discovering life, building a future. Instead, you hand them trauma and call it destiny. Let us stop pretending this is normal. It is not. It is theft of childhood, plain and simple. And anyone defending it is choosing cruelty over conscience. This needs to end. Not later. Now.

"Anyone who declares a date for Ramadan either before or after the Sultan of Sokoto’s announcement is, indirectly declaring himself the President of the NSCIA. Islam says such a person should be killed," — Chief Imam Ogbomosho It's always about killing, Never about preservation of life.. Religion of peace ✌️

In 2017, my friend married her partner one week before he left for the US. The plan was simple: “I’ll get there, process your papers, then you join me.” He left. They spoke every day. She faced rejection after rejection. He even sent her to South Africa, UAE and Kenya to build travel history. Still no approval. Five years later, they let go. Not because love ended, but because migration is harder than people think. That’s why Simisola Oni started JAPA GIST WITH SIMISOLA ONI, a podcast about the real experience of travelling abroad. First episode drops Friday, 8am EST on YouTube❗️ Kindly subscribe to her channel and support the conversation.
