Absolute rubbish done by Zulus but I am happy that the police man told them the procedure that they cannot arrest people and demand proof of identity from them, they must call police to do that since they are authorized.

I condemn the alleged assault and robbery of a Venda man in Alexandra after he was reportedly mistaken for an undocumented foreign national. Tribalism, vigilantism, and criminality have no place in South Africa. Our Constitution protects the dignity and equality of all people. Immigration enforcement is the responsibility of law enforcement authorities, not individuals or mobs.

PEOPLE OF MARCH AND MARCH Demanding proof of identity from members of the public without legal authority must be condemned. The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa guarantees the rights to dignity, equality, freedom and security of the person, and due process under the law. Identity and immigration verification are the responsibilities of SA Police Service 🇿🇦, immigration officials, and other duly authorized personnel,not ordinary citizens. Failure to produce an ID on demand by unauthorized individuals does not make anyone an illegal foreign national. If left unchecked, this practice risks encouraging vigilantism, violence, and the unlawful targeting of innocent people. The rule of law must prevail at all times.

As a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters. I am not going to be participating on hooliganism gathering, gatherings that are inspired by afrophobia,tribalism and thuggery. Law must be enforced and any bridge of law must recieve full attendance from the law enforcement authorities SA Police Service 🇿🇦. Looting must be condemned and we do not want any loss of life or casualties. I will be registering young people to vote
