‘Young Lion’ is the last song on Modern Vampires of The City, which was my last album as a member of Vampire Weekend. But it was born in the final weeks of us making Contra. In this video I dig into the origin story of the song and unearth its early demos and inspirations. Finally, there is a new version out today, recorded live at Sound City Studio A with my American Stories Band. I’m excited to share it all with you. mini-doc directed by Antony Muse
