One of the most bizarre moments of the Hur report saga was when Biden and his allies (Kamala, Jill, Nancy Pelosi, staff, about a dozen others) viciously attacked Robert Hur for invoking the death of Biden’s son Beau in his report. What we eventually found out (and yesterday’s audio confirmed) was Biden HIMSELF brought Beau up, not Robert Hur. But Biden didn’t remember, so he held a press conference to attack Hur and made all of his defenders look terrible.

Huge thanks to Dana Perino for the shoutout for 10 Minute Drill - She’s absolutely right – As DOGE makes recommendations for important cuts like the Department of Education, Republicans need to make the case that every dollar to that failed bureaucracy (and laundering operation to teachers unions) to is a dollar taken away from helping a kid learn to read - at a time when 60% of our kids can’t read at grade level.
