I’ve said it countless times - and I’ll say it again. Trivium wouldn’t exist without the Gothenburg scene. In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, At The Gates These three were some of the first bands I got into after initially getting into metal. We’ve toured with In Flames 6 times now since 2005; and it’s been amazing to be able to go from a super fan, to a peer, to close friends with IF. We were so excited to be invited to In Flames’ incredible festival; then to be able to guest on my favorite In Flames song ever; to be able to watch Dark Tranquillity from right in the middle of the crowd; and to see Anders and Mikael’s touching tribute to Tomas Lindberg (another hero who I was able to meet briefly years back - and I’m happy I was able to tell him what a massive inspiration he and all his music has been to me) - and also to be able to take part in that tribute alongside Anders and Mikael. I could go on forever about how unreal last night was - but to sum it up: to be in the birthplace of a genre that helped make me who I am, and be able to share the stage with two of my icons of music - and be able to call them friends - is otherworldly. Tack så mycket Göthenburg/ In Flames/ Dark Tranquillity/ At The Gates/ Göteborg Brinner! • I also finally met Lord Ahriman properly from one of the greatest black metal bands ever: Dark Funeral! • Need some recommendations to start listening to IF DF ATG and DF? Start with: In Flames: Whoracle, Reroute To Remain Dark Tranquillity: Projector, Haven At The Gates: Terminal Spirit Disease, Slaughter Of The Soul Dark Funeral: Diabolis Interium, Secrets Of The Black Arts

WHAT THE F*** IS A DUAL STRAP?!?! What do you think about the dual strap I’ve engineered together with Richter Straps? Have you actually tried it? It gets a ton of reactions - good, bad, ugly - nothing ever not emotional. I designed these with the purpose of symmetry and ergonomics. 100% of the weight of the guitar slings across one trapezius/ shoulder/ side of your body. Forever. That left side (or right) is always slightly under load on stage. While standing, singing, jumping, running, etc. I thought to myself - why isn’t there something to make this a bit more equal on both sides? When we lift for S&C, it’s always about being equally grounded and working both sides in symmetry - not in asymmetry. Whether a guitar is light or heavy, your shoulders are great or not - why not have some ergonomics? It changes the weight from being 100% on one shoulder, to a more 60/40 distribution. You can alter its placement here and there to get 30/70-50/50 and all in between. I love it. And I love how mad it makes some people. 😂 Get yours now! Lars Richter

In 2005 - we hadn’t yet had our break. No one knew who we were. Expect for the UK and Ireland. A bunch of 18 year olds came out at 11am on the MainStage in download to 40,000 people who forever changed the destiny of trivium. The next 21 years were filled with gold records, sold out tours, and topping it off with selling out the o2. 2026. We just had the greatest show of our career - on the main stage - to 60/70,000 people. At download once again. If 2005 gave us that many amazing things in the span of 21 years - I can only imagine what 2026’s show will hold for us. Thank you download, thank you to our devoted supporters. We love you.

Alright. So I announced the new album (sorta). And the next world tour (sorta). Where do we need to play on the next world run for album 11?? Copenhell was so insane - it was unreal. So we finished our incredible Jera set last night at 11pm… 60 min drive to a hotel… 2 hours of sleep… lobby call at 4am… flew. Drove to Copenhell. And friggon rocked it. Now hotel. Early ass flight in the am to Tuska! LFG!

It’s been a wild 27 years to be in this band. Highs, lows, in betweens; the good, the bad, the ugly, the uglier; the moments of joy, moments of wanting to quit, wanting to quit it all… Your support allows us to do this.
