Check out this incredible demonstration by the California Air National Guard at a past Pacific Airshow! Their C-130 Super Hercules, equipped with the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS), demonstrates how they turn a C-130 into a powerful air tanker. They see a lot of action during California’s wildfire season! From the 146th Airlift Wing, these dedicated Guard members train hard and respond fast when called upon by CAL FIRE and the U.S. Forest Service. Whether it’s wildfire season or public demonstrations like this, they represent the very best of service and readiness. Huge thanks to the California Air National Guard! I really hope they bring these guys back for more shows! Sorry for the poor audio, jet noise blew out my microphone.

McChord C-17srunning the low level earlier this year. Turn up the volume and listen to the flexing as they approach and maneuver the canyon. #redtailrendezvous at Edwards AFB last week featured the history and legacy of the red tails. They also provided a look at a P-51 Mustang from the Palm Springs Air Museum, F-35s from the 100th Fighter Squadron, and a at-7A Red Hawk from EAFB. Make sure to turn up the volume.
