FULL VIDEO: Lady Gaga surprise-debuts the first ever live performance of Brooklyn Nights, an unreleased ARTPOP song that leaked online 11 years ago, at N1 of The MAYHEM Ball in Melbourne. The last time she was in Melbourne, for the artRAVE in 2014, she sang a short snippet of the song to the audience. After 11 years away, finally getting the full performance is an absolute gift to veteran fans and ARTPOP truthers.

Lady Gaga shouts out Donatella Versace who's in the crowd of The MAYHEM Ball in Milan tonight: "Donatella is here. That's right! I wanna tell you something about Donatella. During my career I've had many ups and downs. And some were very big, some were in the middle. And, when they happened, so many people around me changed. And so many people didn't support me, or weren't there for me when I wasn't cool. Donatella was always there. Always. In fact, Donatella, I think when I was hurting, you made things even more beautiful. You would go, like, the extra distance to make me smile. And, you know, I didn't have a tons of mentors my whole career, but she was one of them. She taught me how to be kind to people."

Lady Gaga exclusively reveals to user The MAYHEM Ball in a private DM that she isn’t performing Can’t Stop the High on The MAYHEM Ball Tour because she fears the crowd would collapse. “They can’t even handle a ballad like Die With a Smile without passing out, so how the fuck are they supposed to handle this massive smash?”

Even though Gaga is probably frustrated that the show didn’t unfold the way she envisions it as an artist, I think it was a truly memorable experience for us fans. It’s those small details, mistakes, and unexpected moments that make each show different from the last and create unique memories for the audience. This final show may not have had the Garden of Eden dance break or two piano surprise songs, but it gave us a more human Gaga. One who deeply cares about her dancers and her audience, and who feels closer to us because of it. And finally, after five years, we were able to witness the first ever kind of performance of Rain On Me exactly the way it was meant to happen: in the rain. It was a beautiful last show for the 2025 tour. Thank you Gaga! 🖤
