Today, we lost another Minneapolis neighbor after multiple ICE agents pummeled him and shot him to death. How many more people need to die or get shot before this ends? President Trump, I am calling on you to put the American people and this American city first &amp; get ICE out.

In 2024, the Kickernick Building sat 99% unoccupied. Its new owner Kristi Oman has since revitalized the building and now it’s at 96% leased with only two vacancies remaining.

The historic Textile Building is being transformed into 80 affordable housing units for artists, set to open in fall 2027.

The Minneapolis Mile of Music was an absolute blast. From St. Anthony Main to Nicollet Mall, there was great music, huge crowds, and so much excitement. Yesterday’s event is an example of what’s possible when we fully pedestrianize Nicollet Mall. Let’s get to it.

There’s a new Colombian restaurant in the Warehouse District: Trópico. It’s located inside the historic Lumber Exchange building, which has grown from just 7 tenants to 40. New restaurants, new businesses, and more people filling once-vacant spaces.

I want our police officers spending their time keeping people safe, not hunting down our neighbors.

In addition to tearing families apart and terrorizing our neighborhoods, this massive ICE presence has also been horrible for Minneapolis business. We need ICE to leave so our economy can get reignited.
