Little sneak peak of animation progress in Aseprite! #screenshotsaturday #indiedev

It feels crazy that this is where the game progress was 2 years ago. The art style and basic movement and behaviors were set up early on, but the lines of code went from 6k then to 65k now. It switched engine from Unity to Godot, and a chunk has been done on assets and skills.

Watch out, these squirrel type creatures are very aggressive (they also sometimes shoot bubbles, which needs fixing 😅). What should we call them? #indiedev

Polished off the shooting gallery. Now with NPC interaction, prize logic, and UI! The idea is you can win unique items in minigames, but only once. You can play them again for the runner-up prize.

All sorts finished on the hotbars! Resize, adjust, lock, assign skills / items~ Time to look at class skills next, because I can't be casting hazelnuts and bubbles all the time.

I've fixed the arrows and got the bow animations in now!

I wonder if the names and the health/mana bars get in the way a bit. I could make the name only appear when hovered over? Or perhaps the game needs portrait UIs of the player and the target instead?
