⏱️~24 minutes saved roundtrip. ⏩37 speed restrictions removed. After 24 days of uninterrupted access, we were able to deliver major service improvements to our riders on the Red Line Braintree Branch. Thank you to our riders for giving us the time needed for #BuildingABetterT.

New, modern signals are now fully installed across the Orange Line. On March 6, we finished the full-access diversion 2 days early after completing the cutover to the state-of-the-art digital signal system, which means greater service reliability and more efficient operations.

To better inform riders, we've launched an interactive speed restrictions dashboard to openly & clearly provide info on the state of our tracks. Updated daily, the dashboard details & illustrates the location, speed, & distance of restrictions systemwide.

Red Line Speed Restrictions: 0️⃣ The Red Line is slow zone-free for the first time in at least 20 years. From November 17-24, we eliminated 2 slow zones & completed key infrastructure upgrades during the Red Line's last closure for our Track Improvement Program. #BuildingABetterT
