Wrestling has changed a lot since my game was first released, so there's a lot to catch up on! 👿

A new family of "Ripcord" moves already includes @TheChrisDenker's "Taste Of Danger"! They can be accessed from the front or back with ANY move attached to the end: 🤕

My game's weirdest feature is when you use a magic wand to make a homeless man give birth to a fully dressed 3-year old who you have to raise as a Sith Lord in the trailer you're sharing with Vince McMahon. 🤯

The good news is I could release a 2D version of Wrestling Empire tomorrow as the most affordable sim of all time... The bad news is I'd be told to go fuck myself by people who can't make games if I painstakingly stitch together a consistent universe. 🙃

Working in 2D &amp; 3D at the same time connects my games in ways my critics could never comprehend, allowing new content to burst into each dimension 50% quicker than it otherwise would: 🤯

For the first time in my games, the standing chair you smash is the folded chair you use as a weapon! 🤕

It's easy to forget that it was barely possible to interact with the ropes at all in 2D, so to be springboarding off them is a big step up!

You thought I was joking when I said ANY move from anywhere to anywhere? 10 years from now you'll be taking bumps that even I didn't know were possible... 🤕

Ground &amp; pound lives on in 2D, where mounted strikes can now be delivered with either hand - and from a wider variety of positions: 👊

As the industry hits a new low by charging a new high, it feels like the right moment to tag in the most affordable wrestling game of all time! Heavyweight realism is there for those who crave it, but only the lightweight champion will show you moves you've never seen before...✊

I am going to ruin Wrestling Empire for everyone who maxes out their stats to go on an undefeated streak... 🫡

No, my games will never be released early again. The people who want it the most are the least capable of handling it. Impatience &amp; intolerance are 2 cheeks of the same arse. 🍑

The only wrestling game that lets you "fall flat on your arse" during an entrance! 🤣

Ever wished you could go back in time and pretend the last 5 years never happened? 🤔

On PC &amp; Switch you can also now sleep twice as easily via the right thumbstick. I have yet to settle on a touchscreen command for this (without relying on the pause menu), but sleeping in a chair is advised if you can't find a bed: 🛌

Although you can't fully transform into an animal, you can at least wear the head of the actual wolf like a mask! It even brings those sound FX along with it... 🐺

We also have "laser swords" from an old sci-fi movie I used to watch. They glow in different colours, which was the style at the time. Blink and you'll miss it, but the beam appears &amp; disappears as needed...

Every move that you would expect now stalls by default, so you can even take a few steps with Powerbombs relative to your strength:

There's only so much you can depict in 2D, but this is the closest thing we have to an epic arena with an entrance ramp - at the bottom as well as the top! It at least gives you that "big fight" feel to have more room once a month... 🤩

It's easy to forget that it wasn't possible to hold multiple objects at all in older 2D games, but now objects like belts have more in common with 3D and can be customized with any design and folded into any shape: 🙌

I can't say I was looking forward to animating dedicated corner moves, so I put all of that effort into a system where ANY move can fly ANYWHERE! The result will be a wider variety of moves in a wider variety of places: 🤯

STRIKE! What's the most people you've ever bowled over with a single move? 🎳

There's something strangely satisfying about pummelling someone in the corner when it was never possible before! There's even a new predicament where they can slump forwards over the corner...

The bad news is that moves aren't coming as thick &amp; fast as 2D promised. The good news is that's because I'm taking the time to add extra frames and map out every possibility. Nice deep lifts, satisfying struggles, etc. 🧐

2D hopes to bring back "live" game development, where new moves are animated within an hour of broadcast - such as Paddy Pimblett's excruciating modified Peruvian Necktie from #UFC329! Notice how such moves can also now be applied directly in any position you find yourselves in:

The only reason I added water was so that you could one day walk on it, but we couldn't stick the landing... 😭

Like all the other little Hulkamaniacs, Hulk Hogan being the larger-than-life "biggest icon in wrestling" is where it all started for me - and it's hard to imagine any of us working in this arena without the spectacle he created. Thanks for the house, champ. 💪

If you found the game difficult, it's almost certainly because you tried to wipe out an entire crew single-handedly. I marked out when I got my ass kicked so badly that I had to build my own Survivor Series team! We are not the same... 👊
