Two letters purportedly written by Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr to a US official have surfaced online. Both letters name Peter Enzminger as the recipient. He is listed as a counselor at the US Embassy in Manila and is reportedly linked to the CIA. ·The first letter, dated July 31, 2026, says the US interests are the "highest guiding principle" of Teodoro's official duties. It suggests Philippine operations near Ren'ai Reef were deliberately conducted to provoke China, even at risk to Philippine personnel, and presents his possible rise to the presidency as strategically advantageous to the US. ·The second, dated May 29, 2026, but circulated later, discusses pushing a multibillion-dollar purchase of F-16 fighter jets and other US weapons. It suggests major defense purchases were used to win favor with Washington. The Philippine Department of National Defense has called the first letter fake, while the second remains unverified. But the allegations demand a serious and independent investigation. If proven true, they would suggest Teodoro's actions serve neither Philippine interests nor the country's sovereignty. #MediaUnlocked

A massive wildfire reportedly scorched nearly 80 percent of a protected area in eastern Mongolia. At the center of the incident is Mobicom, a major Mongolian telecom operator and consolidated subsidiary of Japanese telecom giant KDDI. The company said a vehicle caught fire while its team was carrying out telecommunications work, igniting the surrounding grassland. Local media, however, have questioned whether some executives were entering the protected area for recreational fishing. But perhaps the most striking part of the story is the silence from Japan's mainstream media. Japanese outlets regularly cover even relatively minor disasters in China and elsewhere in Asia. Yet this major wildfire involving a Japanese-controlled company has received little scrutiny in Japan. Why the silence? #MediaUnlocked

The Financial Times has published what it calls a "visual investigation" on Xinjiang. And the timing is interesting. Shortly afterward, the US Department of Homeland Security announced it had added over 40 Chinese entities to the so-called "Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List". As we read through the piece, we quickly noticed something familiar: the same author, the same "experts", and the same playbook. Satellite imagery presented as "evidence". Speculation packaged as fact. Anonymous sources used to support sweeping conclusions. The deeper we dug, the more familiar it became. Many of the claims, sources, and narratives were nearly identical to those we've examined and challenged for years. In fact, some of our previous fact-checks could be republished today to debunk the FT piece. Yet despite years of scrutiny, these stories continue to find an audience in the West. So we decided to examine them once again. And this time, by following the sources, methodology, and "evidence" behind the report, we uncovered a few things the article never tells its readers.#MediaUnlocked #China #Xinjiang

Exclusive video shows Philippine maritime militia threatening China Coast Guard officers with knives. "Look! These fishermen were injured by water cannons." That's the narrative Manila is pushing — a classic case of playing the thief while crying victim. People are wondering, are they a maritime militia disguised as fishermen? These so-called "fishermen" even used knives to threaten the China Coast Guard officers. On December 11, Philippine fishing boats intruded near China's Huangyan Island, while small aircraft carrying journalists illegally entered Chinese airspace. On December 12, additional Philippine vessels stirred up trouble by intruding into the lagoon of Xianbin Reef. So why now? On the one hand, the Philippines is acting out a show of unity with Japan, jumping onto Japan's discredited "radar illumination" narrative. On the other hand, Manila is eager to court US support, even as Washington shows little interest in endorsing these actions. But staged performances can never change the truth. The South China Sea needs peace and stability — not actors playing to the camera. #MediaUnlocked

This Japanese history textbook is no ordinary schoolbook — it's a political weapon. In this textbook: · The Nanjing Massacre, one of the most infamous war crimes in human history, is reduced to a single line: "The Japanese army occupied Nanjing." · The comfort women — hundreds of thousands of Asian women forced into military brothels — are erased entirely. · The back of the book asks whether the Pacific War was really an "aggressive war", echoing the revisionist claim that Japan was "forced" into war or even "liberated Asia" — a narrative long condemned by historians across the world. It is not "a different interpretation of history". It is a society-wide identity-reengineering project — reshaping how a nation understands its past, justifying how it acts in the present, and preparing the public for what it may do in the future. Historical denial is already shaping Japan's present behavior. Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has openly threatened military action regarding China's sovereignty over Taiwan. The Japanese military recklessly provokes China at sea. A country that refuses to confront its past while escalating confrontation in the present gives the world every reason — and every responsibility — to stay vigilant. #MediaUnlocked

The catastrophic mudslide along the China-Nepal border has triggered a wave of anti-China misinformation online. Here are the facts behind three of the most widely circulated claims↓↓↓ Claim One: Chinese dams or construction caused the disaster. • This allegation spread widely across some Indian media outlets. Some even used AI-generated images and videos as "evidence". • However, scientific findings show that the disaster began with a massive slope failure involving a glacier in Nepal's Langtang National Park. Claim Two: China concealed the disaster. • Some Western media outlets, including The New York Times, BBC, The Guardian and The Telegraph, suggested China was hiding the scale of the disaster. • However, Chinese media reported casualties, missing persons and rescue efforts from day one, focusing on verified information rather than repeatedly broadcasting graphic images. Claim Three: China knowingly failed to warn Nepal. • Some pro-DPP commentators in China's Taiwan province propagated this claim to fuel anti-China sentiment. • However, the source area was in Nepal, and the collapse triggered a destructive debris flow that reached China's Gyirong Port within minutes — barely enough time to assess the situation, let alone issue an effective warning. The facts should outlive the propaganda. A disaster demands scrutiny — but it must never be reduced to ammunition for a political agenda. #MediaUnlocked #Mudslide

China has released a set of archives, revealing something some countries still haven't fully reckoned with. These are newly declassified Soviet files on Japan's Unit 731, one of the most horrific military programs of World War II. The files include interrogation transcripts, internal memos and investigation notes from 1939 to 1950, detailing a state-run system for biological weapons. We're talking: — freezing humans to study frostbite — vivisections with no anesthesia — infecting people with plague, anthrax, cholera, typhoid — civilians and prisoners of war, Chinese, Koreans, Mongolians, Russians, used as living test subjects These archives from Russia line up perfectly with what China has preserved for years, forming a complete evidence chain that Japan's biological warfare was a deliberate, systematic state crime. This release helps ensure the truth stays on the record and the victims of these crimes are never erased. #MediaUnlocked

This year marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30). China's annual sessions of its top legislature and political advisory body, known as the two sessions, are just around the corner, and the draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan has already become a key focus. Based on this new blueprint for China's economic and social development, what could China look like five years from now? What new opportunities could it bring to the world? We asked #Seedance to make a prediction. #MediaUnlocked #AIGC

"As a Filipino and as an Asian, I don't want my country to be a battleground," said Raul L Lambino, chairman of Philippine New Energy Group Inc. He noted that there is a very strong xenophobia in the Philippines, but there are still some Filipinos who really love China and the Chinese people. Former Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai responded that if external interference can be eliminated, the China-Philippines relationship will return to a track of healthy development and mutually beneficial cooperation. #Philippines #War #Diplomacy #Peace #MutualCooperation

A Western "scholar", Darren Byler, published a paper accusing China of "producing Uygur terrorist worker" through digital surveillance in 2021. To support this claim, he used three paintings of Xinjiang painters without permission, stripped them of contexts, and misrepresented them to match his political agenda. The three painters were furious about this and took legal measures to protect their rights. In January 2025, Taylor & Francis issued a rare correction. The paintings Byler had appropriated were removed, along with all captions and references. Byler himself has not yet made an official apology, but the painters will continue to fight for their rights. This case sets a precedent: you cannot distort facts and strip context to serve a political agenda. Xinjiang is not a blank canvas for Western defamation.

An exclusive radio exchange we obtained between the Japanese side and the Chinese Navy shows that the Japanese side identified itself as the "Japan Navy" during a joint China-Russia patrol. The Chinese Navy immediately rejected the term, stressing that Japan may only maintain "Self-Defense Forces" under its Constitution. #MediaUnlocked

Let's make this clear from the start — Japan must fix its mistake now. Takaichi must apologize, take responsibility, and give the Chinese people a real answer. Japan is now tasting the backlash of its own provocations. Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has just taken office for a few weeks, yet she's managed to offend almost every neighbor Japan has. The political fallout is just the beginning. The economic damage is real. Shiseido — a brand heavily dependent on Chinese customers — saw its stock plunge 11%. Other Japanese companies? All taking hits in different degrees. There's only one way for Japan to climb out of this self-inflicted disaster: Sanae Takaichi must apologize, retract her statements, face history honestly, and stop playing with fire on the Taiwan question. #MediaUnlocked

Japan's new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi delivered a barrage of irresponsible remarks about China, instantly triggering a wave of ridiculous online smears targeting China. Let's debunk them one by one. Myth 1: China is "ungrateful". Japan "helped" China, but China "repaid kindness with ingratitude". A1: That's a complete rewrite of history. Was the invasion a "help"? And after the war, how much reparations did Japan pay? None. Before lecturing China on "gratitude", perhaps ask: Do you still remember the names of the victims of the Nanjing Massacre? Myth 2: "Don't blame today's Japanese people for history." A2: No one says ordinary Japanese citizens are guilty. But the Japanese state does have a responsibility. Just look at today's Japanese politicians — some still deny or whitewash wartime crimes. When this kind of denialism persists, responsibility isn't historical — it's ongoing. Myth 3: "China's reunification poses a threat to Japan." A3: This is the most absurd claim of all. Does China's reunification change Japan's borders, economy, or domestic politics? None. Let's be clear: What Japan fears is losing the "Taiwan card", a geopolitical tool it wields as Washington's pawn to contain China. #MediaUnlocked

We’ve obtained exclusive footage revealing what really happened on August 11, when the Philippines intruded into waters around China’s Huangyan Island under the pretext of supplying fishing boats. In reality, the Philippines not only trespassed — it carried out reckless maneuvers and then tried to hype up the incident. Ignoring repeated warnings, multiple Philippine vessels pushed into waters near Huangyan Island. Among them, PCG ship 4406 made a series of high-speed crossing maneuvers in front of the bow of CCG ship 3104 — not once, but repeatedly. Then, on August 13, a US destroyer illegally entered China’s territorial waters off Huangyan Island without approval. Two intrusions. Two days apart. One message: Washington and Manila are running a coordinated show to turn the South China Sea into their stage. China’s warning is clear: if Manila persists with provocations, it will face targeted countermeasures. Repeated provocations will come with a cost.

"I think when people in China say China is the next China, I agree with them, just as I would also say India should be the next India," said Ananth Krishnan, China correspondent for Indian newspaper The Hindu. He believes that India and China have their histories and development paths, and that each should follow the model best suited to its own circumstances. #MediaUnlocked

"The idea of a functioning society is almost a kind of utopian thing for an American," says Haz Al-Din Haz Al-Din 🇷🇺 , chairman of the American Communist Party. After visiting China, he contrasts visible crises in American cities, such as homelessness, violence, poor sanitation, and insecurity, with what he observed. He notes that, if Americans knew China's modern achievements, "they would be much more furious and angry with their own government". #MediaUnlocked

Japan is twisting the facts and playing the victim again. In the early hours of Dec 7, Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi held an emergency news conference accusing China of "locking radar" on Japanese aircraft. But let's be clear: This is a classic case of the guilty crying foul. Here's what actually happened. China's Liaoning aircraft carrier group was conducting far-sea training in waters east of the Miyako Strait — a training area that had been publicly announced in advance, fully consistent with international law and established maritime practice. Despite this, Japan deliberately shadowed, interfered with, and needlessly provoked the Chinese carrier group, repeatedly dispatching aircraft to intrude into the clearly declared exercise zone. After stirring up the tension, Tokyo suddenly pushed a dramatic "radar illumination" narrative to grab headlines. As China's Ministry of National Defense rightly notes, this is nothing more than a textbook trick of "a thief crying 'stop thief'". Instead of stoking tensions and reviving the dangerous logic of militarism, Japan should pull back from its confrontational trajectory — a trajectory history has already shown leads only toward disaster. #MediaUnlocked

"Do you trust the media?" In a recent interview, Haz Al-Din, chairman of the American Communist Party, said the real reason why Western media keeps demonizing China is that China is not under the control of the American ruling class. He also said, "the American ruling class is motivated by greed, self-interest, private interests and corruption." American people are suffering from skyrocketing living costs and a lack of social welfare because their government only "serves the interests of a small private cabal". #MediaUnlocked #insightsunlocked
