Oh Indian travellers, while in any other country, don’t forget that you represent all 1,441,303,328 citizens of Bharat & any uncouth, uncivilized behavior/ activity of yours belittles us all! In Kenya on the safari, we’ve been encountering many Indians behaving irresponsibly- from getting off the jeeps for reels & selfies to climbing atop the jeep (strictly not permitted), yelling on top of their voices passing weird statements, to even touching the animals putting the lives of people as well as animals in danger…😡 If the animal reacts, its ‘mauling’ the humans, & if he does react, he’ll be shot dead in a minute! Passing thepla/ chaklis across to their groups in other vehicles, littering leftovers, wrappers..🫣 Every time such a group was in the vicinity, we had to hear, “this one is from your country”😟 Posting few clips of some groups in a thread, lets identify & shame them! #KenyaDiaries #MasiMara

Fully agree. We chose to have an organic- traditional, 9-day #VivahSanskar for our only daughter, with every ritual performed strictly according to the Shastras. Only family and close friends were present no DJs, no event managers, no performative spectacle, no vulgar display of wealth. We had 11 learned Brahmins to conduct the ceremonies vidhivat. Father figure Shri RV Subramani ji specially explained the meaning and sanctity of the #Saptapadi in both English. We maintained the sanctity of the Sacred Vivah Samskars & set an example for traditional continuity.

Kuchipudi dancer par excellence, #AmarnathGhosh shot dead in St. Louis, Missouri! Please help India in USA Dr. S. Jaishankar 🙏🏻 Amarnath was shot multiple times while he was taking an evening walk in the St Louis academy neigbourhood on Tuesday, 27th February 2024. The only child in the family, lost his father at a very young age, lost his mother 3 years back, was perusing his PHD in the US. One we are aghast with this news & are getting no details, no updates, even his body hasn’t been handed over to friends who’ve been trying to claim it! U.S. Embassy India
