I think new-age mothers really need to take feeding lessons from older women of the past generation because there is absolutely no way you’re mixing rice, plantain and apple together, boiling everything, blending it and feeding it to a nine-month-old baby. Because what happened to making pap with plenty nutrients in it already? We are suddenly adopting white peoples culture Some of these baby meals are just so horrible.

Sayo is doing really well with her advocacy for sickle cell warriors, but setting up a camera, mounting it, editing the video and then posting it is honestly insane to me. I keep wondering why there had to be a camera capturing such a deeply vulnerable moment. There’s something about the psychology of new-age people feeling the need to document and perform their pain for an audience. Because at some point, it stops feeling like a private moment and starts feeling like a performance of pain.
